    I had 2 nesting boxes with 4 chickens. They were using the left box most of times. I put a curtain on the right side but to no avail. Next I tossed a golf ball. Now they are using mostly right side. Funny girls.

    I have 4 one year old Easter eggers in California. They started laying eggs in January and laid 3-4 eggs per day. But I got average 2 eggs recently and got only one egg today. No food or environment have changed and they were free ranging in the backyard. Any idea/suggestions?

    I was monitoring her to see how she'd lay all morning because she skipped yesterday. Hmm, she was trying to lay in the dust bath container outside the coop so I put her back in the coop but she laid her second egg on the floor again. What should I do? Should I add curtains to the nesting boxes?
