Thank you Debbi. I have printed out the standard that was the start of the thread. Being a show person (rabbit and dogs for 40 years) I can digest and imagine. I breed mainly for eggs and a few shows here and there. Just love the breed. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I am not...

Yes they are not accepted, and more than likely will not be accepted (ARBA has refused them once already ... hence where the Giant came from). That said, many people show them with the giants. To show a rabbit, you do not have to prove parentage. The rabbit just has to comply with the breed...
Good choice. We currently work with GA & EA. Have had the others through time. For ease of coat prep and production we stayed with the GA, EA set. The EA because I love to show and be tortured by the work! The Giants or Germans are the true production animals. If you are looking to spin...

Actually ... the blue NZ is not an accepted color via ARBA ... but ... there is a COD currently held and it is being worked on. My barn contains both blue and broken blue NZ. It will be a color accepted by ARBA in the future.
That being said ... you could have a blue NZ if there is...

You are welcome ... just be careful with the angoras ... they are just like Pringles ... you can never have enough! Oh ... wool ... oh ... spin ... yummmmmmy!

According to the ARBA SOP for MR colors:
"The surface color on the top and sides of the body is to be lilac mingled with fawn. The intermediary band is to be fawn over an off-white undercolor. The chest is to be fawn over an off-white undercolor. The undercolor of the belly is to be lilac...
Okay ... so that is the youngster I saw last time we visited. She has matured nicely from the pix. The convention winner was sheared a couple weeks ago. Linda is awsome, a great friend ... she was originally from here.
