    I started a batch last week after seeing this thread on the homepage, and I will be feeding it to my chickens tomorrow, I'm so excited, i've got a second batch going that is about 36 hrs behind the first, and I am looking for just the right size containers for my flock of 8 to get a 6 or 7 day...

    What do you do when you turn off the turner?

    I have a Hova-Bator 1588 incubator. I have incubated several rounds of chics through it since I got it 4 years ago. My question, and the thing that seems to change with every incubation is what I do when I turn off my turner. I've simply turned it off and left it in the incubator...

    the picture is kinda dark so it's hard to tell, how far along is your incubation? (i've never had an egg "explode" in the incubator)

    on the female, it is a single comb, it's just shorter than my other two ladies. i've got some more pics of the nicer roo, and the last roo from my eailier post that was blurry. the bigger roo def has some "halo" happening, my least Halo is also my roo in the middle when it comes to copper...
