I started a batch last week after seeing this thread on the homepage, and I will be feeding it to my chickens tomorrow, I'm so excited, i've got a second batch going that is about 36 hrs behind the first, and I am looking for just the right size containers for my flock of 8 to get a 6 or 7 day...
I have a Hova-Bator 1588 incubator. I have incubated several rounds of chics through it since I got it 4 years ago. My question, and the thing that seems to change with every incubation is what I do when I turn off my turner.
I've simply turned it off and left it in the incubator...

I've got 3 hens total but they are very very sporadic, I got my first on a wednesday september 4th 2-1/2 weeks ago, then my second on friday the 6, then not another till september 16th, and finally got a fourth yesterday the 22nd. I was just wondering if that was...
on the female, it is a single comb, it's just shorter than my other two ladies.
