    Thanks everyone... these two are very special to me and my wife... There dad was killed by a hawk and luckily his favorite hen layed a couple eggs a week later which we went ahead and allowed her to hatch.

    She actually got this way about two months ago and then seemed to be getting better. We saw alot of new feather growth, but in the last few days it is quickly getting worse again. We put her up on a roost at night since her wings are bald.

    Thanks for all the replys and thoughts.... I learned a bunch there. They do look like cochin and the roosters probably are a cochin/silke, polish mix. Now if I could just get the little girls to start laying in their boxes rather then dropping from roost or around the house.
