    I guess the question is how far will chickens roam from the caravan? My paddocks are 1000ft x 2000ft and i'd prefer to only move it once a year rather than moving it daily and using electric netting to keep then concentrated in a single area.

    why not use a ultraviolet blue light bug zapper over your chicken run so that the chickens get a good feed when they come out in the morning?
