Crazy things I'm finding cleaning out our barn!! LOTS of pics!

The reason they said to smash it is twofold: there could be illegal residue in the pipe, and some overeager law enforcers could consider it paraphernalia, even though in this case it's not.

You can rinse the hookah & sell it on ebay and get some change for your barn renewal project

A hookah is NOT illegal paraphernalia you've just got a sheriff who is ignorant, xenophobic or both.

If you dont use it, sell it on ebay after cleaning it, these things arent cheap.

We haven't smashed it yet, it seems to be in good shape its sitting in our barn still. However being non smokers of (anything) I just don't feel right selling something to someone else who is going to use it to destroy themselves. I probably sound a little strange, but I won't even buy anything to do with tobacco never have and won't even do so for my fiance' who chews snuff.

What an adventure digging through the mess! Hopefully, you won't find any skeletons...

We've been living here for 10+ years and are STILL finding odd things in holes like deranged squirrels lived here. Most of it is only suitable for the recycle or trash bin. Out in the pasture, though, we've found cool stuff like prohibition era prescription spirits bottles, hand-hammered iron nails and hardware, and a nice mule shoe.

Well I've gotten the room with all the major mess cleaned out! :) Its not really cleaned out per say since I just did a cleaning and moved all the parts/junk to a corner that could be sold, used by others. But, at least all the hay and other nastiness is out, We haven't found anything else unusual at this time. I wanted to make room where we could start doing small repairs here and their as we could. In the next couple weeks we will start putting plywood on the walls of the coop! :) So excited!
Would you guys recommend throwing out much of the dirt in the coop (believed to be used for horses, mules, or something similar) and starting with fresh new dirt in there? It's going to have to be dug up anyway to put some wire down, so.
