Big girls hate bantam - is there hope?

Ive had the new one since mid April. She is still living/separated in her own coop except when I can supervise. They always go right after her whenever they see her.

Big girls hate bantam - is there hope?

I was just given an adorable silkie mix bantam. I keep her separated in a coop within my larger run so everyone sees each other! The problem is whenever I let her out, three of my four girls will attack her viciously (one likes her). They corner her and two will gang up on her and jump on her...

    Can anyone identify this breed?

She's just beginning to lay (blue eggs). She's athletic - good flyer, curious and friendly. Was told she was a partridge plymouth rock, but looks nothing like photos I've. You may not be able to tell from the photo, but there are some brown tones in her feathers, especially around the neck...

    Is this chick normal??

I wound up bringing her back. I couldn’t risk having a handicapped chicken as my older girls can be brutal. It wasn’t worth the potential heartache.

    Is this chick normal??

Hi, could someone with chick raising experience please tell me if it’s normal for a chick to be awkward/have issues walking/standing. Unfortunately I can’t upload a video here. She doesn’t walk around for long and always plops down, no matter what the surface. She even eats sitting down. Her...

Hen lethargic and not eating, only drinking

At this point she hasn’t pooped since overnight when it was just watery. I’m not aware of her eating anything she shouldn’t, but she does spend time free ranging.

Hen lethargic and not eating, only drinking

Watery poop, more water than anything. Lower belly solid. Crop is empty.

Hen lethargic and not eating, only drinking

I know this has been discussed before, but not for my precious girl. I have a 4-year old Barred Plymouth Rock named Bonnie. About 48 hours ago, she started acting lethargic. She is drinking, but not eating. Breathing fine, no nasal discharge. I checked to see if I could feel an egg - nothing...

Chickens Attacking One Hen - need help

Just wanted to let everyone know this story had a happy ending. Once she was better (and could run away a little faster), they stopped picking on her! I will add that she definitely had to also get past acting afraid of them before they’d leave her alone. Advice here was dead on, thanks.
