    I see everyone's point and agree on the handling. Unfortunately wildlife officials and rehab here in Florida won't help Muscovys. They're considered invasive and will only take them if they're dying and then will euthanize.

    Yes thank you for mentioning that. On the first vet visit when his potassium was high, the vet mentioned that, but when checking the kidneys couldn't find anything wrong there. Then when I had to take him back potassium wasn't even a problem then.

    They're white crested, and thankfully he's looking much better and stronger today. Blue boy has quieted down and not so eager to test him now! So, yes, apparently it doesn't take them long to figure out what going on in the flock.
