    It’s now with 10 chicks that hatched around the same time. I see another baby duck hatched this evening so I’ll grab it in the morning :) Also good info! Thank you for sharing, another thing I was not aware of!

    Advice needed please--egg in the process of hatching outside, but getting down to the teens tonight

    We had our runner ducks lay and hatch (started hatching last week) We had a couple -10 random nights and they did ok. We have 2 heat lamps. Taking the baby out to a brooder now because I just learnt ducks may not be good mama’s. Lost 2 out of the 3 within a couple of days. 😢

    Winter Prep - Hay on top of sand in the run?

    Hi, I just got the nerve to do it and it looks nothing like that pic, I took another picture (a better one) and I really don’t know where to cut and it is definitely not drying up.
