    chicks due soon and need to make sure i got it covered

    My two silkies just incubated the one clutch of eggs. They are co-parenting the chicks and have been mingling amongst the ducks from about the 3rd day. The chicks just follow them around and go back into the hutch at night.

    Thanks for the reply. I work at a farm so I took the ducklings there today to go in a larger, secure area away from adult ducks. Love them like crazy but they were making an awful mess and smell inside and i had no where I trusted for them to be secure outdoors.

    Hi All, At the moment we have 2 lovely silkie hens and are looking at adding to our little brood. We aren't too fussed about good egg layers. But would like friendly, docile breed. I'd love some breed recommendations. Thanks in advance
