    How do you regulate humidity?

    I use a sponge in my incubator and when it dries out I just add more water to it and it seems to work great

    I have been told that a pointy egg is a rooster and a round tip is a hen . what do you all think this egg will hatch as? I have been hatching my own chicks for a few years now and I have noticed that most of the eggs I get a day are pointy, I hardly ever get any round eggs.

    Ok chick is hatched. It didnt try to hatch on its own so I went ahead and hatch it and doing great now. Lost alittle blood but is ok. Thank you for your help.

    The chicks initial hole had actually closed backup so I was able to open a hole in the shell and it looks like it's a little shrink-wrapped in there but now it has an air hole so hopefully it will hatch on its own bc I still see blood vessels towards the top of the air hole

    Yes I have but I really did not want to because when I open my incubator on day 22 I have to help every chick out of their shell because they are stuck in their egg
