A couple of questions, Google has not helped me!

Turkeys do get along well with chickens and most other fowl. Toms can be quite loud during mating season (early spring) and at times when they are disturbed by unusual sights and noises. Both hens and toms probably would be quite a bit nosier than your chicken hens. I don't think I would...

    Are turkeys human-aggressive?

If they strut and display they are most likely Jakes (young toms) Seldom do these birds get aggressive, except for mating season, and not then all the time. Sounds like you just have a couple of young show offs. Turkeys are fun birds to raise, you'll, love them.

    Raising pheasant help

You may want to consider some type of ornamental pheasant Silver, Red Golden or Lady Amherst) They are much less flighty, just as easy to raise, much more beautiful, and not much more expensive. Also no state or federal permit is required. Good Luck

    How to Catch a Pheasant?

The simple solution to prevent escaping birds is to construct a sallyport around the entrance to you pen. Just a small simple area that is fenced in with its own door or gate. You enter the sallyport, shut the gate behind you before opening the door to the pen. If the bird should happen to...

incubating blue back pheasants plz help i want evryones ansers

I fully agree with Tony. Different methods work best for different folks but I have never used to "Lock-Down" system. I use the same temp and humidity all the way through and turn 3 or 4 times daily. In 16 years of raising game birds its worked well for me. Good Luck Amigo

Best Pheasant breed for free rangeing

Its not just the fact that these birds can be reasonably tamed, it has more to do with their natural instinct to avoid danger. No matter how tame any pheasant may seem if frightened it is only natural for all of them to get as far away from whatever or whoever spooked them and to do it as fast...

Best Pheasant breed for free rangeing

Your best and probably only chance would be Silver Pheasants. And even those would have to be very accustomed to their home. Silvers are not as flighty as the other breeds but it would be a gambel and the first time they got spooked they would be gone.

    It's cold outside.

Turkeys handle cold very well. They can also handle wet weather very well. But, the cold and wet combined will quickly kill them. No where in AZ will it ever get too cold for turkeys (much better than our 120 degree summers)

    What breed are my turkeys?

Eastern Wilds would not have any white tipped feathers on the body or tail. Could be a hybrid. Whatever he is he's a beautiful bird. Like you guineas and your little turkey herder too.
