    The chooks are loving all of this grass, and it looks like it won't be freezing anytime soon. I let them free range today! And more rain seems to be coming into next week. Since August, it has at least rained once every month. Very unusual, but great! Here it is coming down the foothills...

    We got our Australorps at our nearest hardware store, but they were being sold as Barred Rocks, which they are clearly not... I lost two to the 2024 heat, and I'm trying not lose these next summer. They are really beautiful!
