    Ok thank you! I was just curious. The picture doesn't show, but she also has the teal blue spots on each wing like a rouen.

    Thanks! I was trying to decide between LBL, or welsummer. The day I bought the red chick the available red breeds were RIR, and NHR. I just based my opinion on the hacheries pics of the 2 different breeds day old baby chicks. At a day old it looked more like the rhode island than the new...

    This is what i was beginning to fear as they all look like pullets to me as well. How do i buy 10 straight run chicks and get all pullets? Should I give it more time, or should I buy a rooster now as I do want some spring chicks if at all possible?
