The new coop is done except for finishing the painting. I picked sassy peach for the paint. I'm going to have to give the coop a second coat.
The hens are happy in the new coop.

We have re-done the chicken run a couple of times since I posted this. We now have the chicken run under a big maple tree in the back yard. the girls like it a lot...then will spend time in the sun during the morning, and when it gets too hot they will lounge under the tree.

I am quite happy with my pullets, I am still getting any where between 10 - 12 eggs a day still, unless it's too cold. Yesterday I got 10. Who l knows how many I'll get today or tomorrow. Wind chill today is going to be about -15 to -20 and colder tomorrow. The high tomorrow is supposed to be -1 :/

The only thing we have done is put up the heat lamps we used when we first got them. Nothing else has changed. No new chicks, no critters in the coop, they have food and water. Just don't want to go in at night.
