I have 8 chickens broody right now! I had one hatch her chicks almost a month ago, when will she begin laying again?

it is good that there is no odor along with the wound. I am not sure what would cause the color change. It is also good that the wound is getting smaller. I did not see anything in your notes about an antibiotic and that would surely help. If it were me, I would do 1cc penicillin squirted onto...
Keep the wound as clean as possible! Also regularly apply neosporin. . . you want the wound to be clean and moist. Make sure the baby is nice and warm and it will do fine!
