    Thanks for your replies! I love raising babies so maybe ill try that, or just get younger cockerels, rather than hatching my own. When I do get some ill probably get more hens anyways to make trios or quads.

    I only breed for fun. The only fertile eggs I have right now are from brothers and sisters and I want babies so im tempted to hatch. They are seramas from a pair of pumpkins, so if I bred brothers and sisters would that produce more pumpkins or not?

    I feed the Nutrena brand in either the regular or the nature wise. Ive heard of good reviews on the brand and my chickens seem to like it. Its about $15 for 50 lbs.
