    they are just over 4 wks old not just over 5 like i had said....they are now outside in a seperate pen from the rest. how do I know what sex they are? and when can I introduce them to the others without being picked on?     ok 3 more days, i think i have everything, but i think i read somewhere i am supposed to give them 1 drop by mouth "of something 'after they dry and put under light can anyone tell me what its call and what its for. I have the packets to put in the gallon water feeder Thanks for any help!!!!

    malformed eggs

    1 of my brown chickens has layed 2 eggs that do not look like the rest. They have a, what i wood call a" flat spot" on the side of the egg and what looks like a" thickened shell" or maybe its thinner, not sure in just 1 spot. I am in the process of saving up 10 days of eggs for my incubator...

    OK RE BROODY CHICKEN SHE LAYS ON THEM ABOUT HALF AND HALF I DONT GO LOOK ALL THE TIME BUT ITS A BLACK ORINGTON AND SHE PRETTY MUCH STAYS IN THE CHICKEN HS AND HAS LUCKY 13 EGGS IN HER NEST, BUT DOES NOT LAY ON THEM ALL THE TIME.....SHOULD I TAKE HER EGGS AND PUT IN INCUBATOR.     i dont understand . i just bought the same one and it says to keep the humidity between 60 and 80 percent and i have been struggling to get it up there. it was around 45 percent all the time. so, i did the paper towels trick i had heard about and a warm sponge right now it is up to 70 percent...
