    But, they'd rather listen to pet stores that say it's fine for little kids to have bunnies, and they do fine in tiny cages.
    Oh no, I'm going on a rant. Sorry about that 😂
    I'd love to start a rabbit rescue someday. It's just hard with rabbits since they can't really be together unless fixed and bonded.

    It’s hard not to rant, more education is needed. I had a Flemish outside in protected area during the day, and he got bot flies, ugh. Then he got let out by a neighborhood kid. All my buns live inside now. My vet wanted them outside for fresh air. I now use fenced deck, digging box and sod matts for supervised outside playtime. I have even tried snow dig boxes by window in the house.

    That's a cool idea. If it snowed here I would try that.

    And yeah, that's one of the many reasons it's hard to keep rabbits outdoors. Many people say that it's fine because in the wild they do, but these are not wild bunnies. Even wild bunnies have a hard time surviving in the wild with predators, disease, heat, and many other things.
