I hope I am not getting to you to late about your chick. I have INDOOR chickens.. You can raise them indoors with very little issues. I have mine with dogs and cats too.. All in the same room at the same time. My Birds ignore the dogs barking and sit on me daily. I hope you can contact me and we can discuss how you can have a happy healthy bird and a new best friend.
