this year I have added a radiant heater: it is very safe it has two settings one is for brooder and one for heat and its VERY mild..We have hung it up right behing where the girls roost and seems to be helping I leave it on day and night during this awful cold spell..
Perhaps try giving her something tasty while she is quiet.. I know it worked with my present girls who are terribly loud and aggressive..I yell at them to quiet down (ironically) and when they do I give them mealy worms (which they die for)..same for when they used to fly up at me..

I believe in most states it is illegal to feed wildlife.. its also illegal to trap and/or kill them without a permit..you may want to check with local authorities as this seems quite serious on several levels..they should be able to adress the issue...
My six year old Blondie (not sure of her breed just that she is a chubby beautiful blonde) has been laying a perfect litle light brown egg every other day.. all of a sudden today her egg had some rather strange brownish speckling..is that unusual?
