    I have 2 Brahma roosters for sale. They were hatched out in early March 2009. They are perfect conformation and temperment. I have my breeding rooster so these boys need a flock or a special person to enjoy them. We live in south central Tennessee.

    Orchard grass works great in the shade as well as sun. I believe you can find seed in your area.

    Being the "mom" to multiple creatures and dealt with loss more than I like to dwell on.I would suggest this for your daughter.Possibly making a small area in the yard for a memorial to her puppy.     I am sorry about Xena-we just lost our golden(budda's mentor) last month to brain cancer.It was sudden and a hard decision was made due to severe seizures. It would be lovely if Buddha made it to 18 as your Bear did. All time we get with our animal friends is a great gift.

    We have had goats for 20plus years and electric has never worked for us. It may be due to crummy ground contact due to rocks but our friends in mankato minnesota have never had luck with their herd and electric either. You have more volt than we tried.

    Goats are great! That said,unless the goat you get is a bottle fed orphan,you will need 2 goats.Goats are very unhappy without a goat friend and will sometimes worry themselves into not eating,etc. Goats need special fenceing(hog wire can catch a head with horns and strangle the poor thing)...
