    Safeguard/fenbendazole for gapeworm?

Thank you! I am not familiar with Safeguard, but have a 25 gram syringe of 10% Panacure paste fenbendazole. I'll try to work out the equivelnt. Much obliged. The paste dissolves fairly well in warm water.

    Safeguard/fenbendazole for gapeworm?

I notice that several people asked the same question. I too would like to know if I can add fenbendazole to the flock's water or feed, and if so, about dosage. Is there danger of overdose? But an annoying feature of responders is that they ignore one's question and ask questions of their own...

    California - Northern

We're near Arcata, so no doubt about being northern. I'd say Santa Cruz is the line. I think of Salinas, Monterey, Fresno, Modesto etc as central. San Louis Obispo and south... southern. BTW, we just got 2.5 inches of rain in 24 hours and my hens ignored their wet backs!

    Baby chicks chest bumping?

My girls get into it when I put them outside. Couple of fluttery bumps, then they go around one another and maybe encounter someone else. It doesn't persist, though!

I want to catch my rooster and pet him to get him tamer, but he is fast and has more moves than a punt returner :D

    What am I?

He is a bantam. His markings are flecks rather than barrs and his white shoulders have a yellowish tinge. I will try to get a close-up of him in good light tomorrow! Thanks!

    New chicken owner.

Hi, I am starting to raise chickens. My flock consists of 4 four-week old chicks: 2 Buff Orpingtons, 1 Rhode Island Red, 1 Plymouth Barred Rock. 3 larger chicks that have body feathers: 2 Australorps and 1 Plymouth Barred Rock. I am working on integrating these 7 into a slightly older group of...

    What am I?

Friar Cluck crowed for the first time today. He's assertive but not agressive. White w gray bars, yellow legs and a bright red comb. My image uploads keep getting rejected, but here goes. Can't figure out how posting images work on this site. Pity.
