    What breed of chickens are these?

    I have no experience but they look like my little Golden Comets but darker....so I'm stabbing in the dark......I'll guess Production Reds?

    I thought those were two seperate breed names Plymouth Rock.....and then Barred Rock? There is a breed called a Plymouth Barred Rock??!!

    All three pictures are of the same rooster...I have seen some folks call this a Barred Rock ..... some call it a Plymouth Rock... and some that call it a Dominicker..... OH PLEASE GREAT, WISE AND ALL KNOWING FOLKS OF BYC What is he? Help!

    I have two of these which were given to me by a relative who got them from a church?? They have no idea how old they are or where they were purchased from. I am a newbie and have recently purchased 9 of my own chicks but these don't look like mine either. Any pointers?

    Whelp...I contacted "the lady" and she says they get the eggs from an AUCTION?? Who does that?? (Aparently they do) When asked about the generation of the birds they say they think second generation?? Seems they have NO IDEA. So now that I have my flock of babies....I will continue to raise them...
