    There's quite a lot of feral chickens that roam around my town here and it's become the norm, so I doubt it escaped out of a neighbors yard. As for more then 1 mama laying it could be possible but again I doubt it, her nest was fairly hidden away and wouldn't let the others get to it, also...

    They probably are mixed breeds then, thank you! So far they're doing well and warmed right up to my two silkie chicks, though have yet to warm up to me fully. I'll keep this place updated on the last 3 chicks.
