OOPS I turned a few eggs when I shouldn't have.

Patience is not my virtue. LOL I'm still waiting for the 2 out of my four eggs to finish hatching. I noticed I have 1 from the 23 of july and 1 from the 25th of july rocking. It's a little bit early for the 25th to be rocking. Once all my chicks hatch I'll take some snap shots. Hrmm... I...

OOPS I turned a few eggs when I shouldn't have.

Quote: Two eggs that I turned by accident yesterday are rocking with beak puncture holes on the bottom. The holes would of been at the top if I didn't turn them. Should I turn the eggs so the holes are at the top or just let them be? -Rich

OOPS I turned a few eggs when I shouldn't have.

Alright, that is good to know. This is about my 5th time incubating and this is the first time I did that. Once they hatch I'll have pictures :-) I have about 12 turkey eggs incubating also, but they still have a ways to go. Which reminds me, I have to candle them. -Rich

Hello all, I have 40 chickens. 20 layers and 20 game hens. As of right now I'm feeding them chicken scratch and mixed grain. I feel this isn't enough since they are non stop eating. I just built them an automatic feeder and the food is just about gone. What can I do to make this situation...

i never thought my own dog would fall into this category (UPDATED PG.8

It's dog's natural instinct to stalk and hunt smaller animals. I always inform people to read up on their research before picking a specific breed of a dog. Heelers are notorious for being stubborn they are also wonderful companions and work dogs. With training dogs you need to have patience...
