But this morning he did his first cockadoo oh it was pathetic but funny haha.
Thanks for the help guys
Hes a few feathers on his rear, they used to be long. I've kept a close eye on it and havent seen any eggs. His combs been red for a good few weeks now also.
Just asking if this light susex is a cockerel?

Thanks for the lovely comment :). I’m glad you decided to get some chickens, make sure you fox proof and predator your setup.Mine so well done now nothing can get in there not even a ant lol. I’m also always making modifications, like my pen and coop.

and this is what you guys aren’t getting they free range all day long expect from the morning where they lay. So there out free ranging from 10 am or earlier. Plus you guys need to remember there pen is open is in the morning to where the fence is there out there. So space isn’t an issue in my...
Yes I have those.
A question though. A poultry person near me tolled me to clip the end of the girls beaks to stop the awful pecking. Is this actually correct? Sounds strange to me
what type of food? Cockerel is doing well, wound has tried up and have been constanlty disenfecting it, i let him out in the day away from the flock. He's a little naughty thing
