    In reference to using cedar chips, I have used them on my last batch of baby chicks they grew up fine , no breathing problems , and am using it in my 8x10 hen house, keeps the fleas and mites down,plus they are ledd likely to eat the it compared to pine shavings,The Old Timers used Cedar, Regards

    Hello, DE should be mixed in at the ratio of 1# for every 50# poultry feed. Hope this helps ,and wear googles and a respirator when mixing.
