    Hen not acting normal

She just had this poop... She is in my nice warm bathroom and drinking quite a bit. She is eating some, but not a lot which I saw online can also cause poops like this?

    Hen not acting normal

Here's her most current poop. It's not runny anymore... I don't really know what to think. She seems pretty alert and perky right now.

Yes she has been drinking. And eating some. Should I go ahead and treat the whole flock? I read that it's okay to eat the eggs while they are on corid?

    Hen not acting normal

I thought about going ahead and doing corid. I bought some yesterday in case I saw more bloody poop. I'm trying to be as natural as possible with them so didn't want to give it until I heard from the vet, but since the vet is out....

    Hen not acting normal

This was her first poop this morning. It looks dried and cakey because I had put it in a bag for the vets office. I just now took a pic of it. Because I had that sample prepared I didn't save any of the others she had today or take pictures of them unfortunately. I can the next time she poops.

    Hen not acting normal

Wednesday morning I found one of my hens (almost 8 months old) walking very slowly all fluffed out and stopping to hunch over every once in a while. I brought her in and gave her warm baths since she wasn't pooping at all and seemed to be in the egg bound position. Yesterday she seemed better...

    HELP SICK RABBIT!!!

Hope he gets better today! Keep a close eye on his eating and drinking. When rabbits are feeling bad they will often stop eating and drinking and dehydrate very quickly. If that does happen, you can try using a syringe to feed a little sweet potato baby food into his mouth every couple of...

    HELP SICK RABBIT!!!

You might try for a day or two if it isn't struggling too badly, but I haven't heard of anyone trying it before so I have no idea if it would help or not. I haven't used the natural approach with my rabbits yet and haven't dealt with pasteurella personally, so I'm not sure what would be natural...

    HELP SICK RABBIT!!!

Hi. It sounds like your rabbit has pasteurella also know as snuffles. It is highly contagious to other rabbits. The treatment is antibiotics, so you will need to get your rabbit to the vet as soon as possible. I'm so sorry it's sick.
