Once fully grown he and his siblings will be going to live on a city farm where my daughter works...that’s if I can part with them.     Thanks. I’ve just applied some more coconut oil and a little bit of feather was starting to stick. I managed to unstick it with the oil.

    Not much progress at all but more effort has been made the last hour. We are trying to keep the exposed membrane moist but it is drying out still

    Yes. We have moistened the membranes with coconut oil since last night and have started misting today.

    Ok thanks. The membrane around the exit hole seems to be turning plasticky so my feeling is he will have trouble getting through. If I was a nail bitter I would have no nails left!
