I had this picture in my head of my boys in 4H showing chickens or horses, helping me make applesauce and jams, and grudgingly helping me weed the garden. Well, they did help with the applesauce and enjoyed the jams while we had them. Now that they are grown and gone, I hope I've a better handle...
Kinda what I'm thinking. They are 4 weeks old, but I don't see any lacing on their feathers and I think the wyandotte should have more yellow feet. Though I understand australorps are supposed to be awesome layers!
So the feed store lady knows what she ordered from the hatchery but kept all the chicks together. I specifically wanted Wyandottes but I'm not convinced that is what I have here. Im also thinking I may have a rooster or three. What do you think? Sorry for the jumble of chicks, they really are...
