    Sick Chicken - advice welcomed

Appreciate the reply (and missed original notification), unfortunately she didn't make. 💔 Definitely a bummer, but thankfully nobody else in the flock appear to have any symptoms or issues.

    Sick Chicken - advice welcomed

Been up and down, sat with her a long while this evening with a few different options (grubterra, scrambled eggs, tomato slices), a few small nibbles. We've done 2 doses of nutridrench last two days...very lethargic and low energy. We had nice weather today so had her out in a grassy area to get...

Thank you for checking in! About the same today, maybe a bit more lethargic 😔 She ate a little scrambled eggs last night and made her some fresh ones this morning with some yogurt, but didn't peak much interest. Amazon dropped off our nutridrench a couple hours and gave her a dose then.. how...

About the same.. curtently relaxed and sleepy eyed in the epsom bath, lol. There is 10% and 20%, can I go either one? Think I'm going to have to order it online either way but hopefully gets here quickly

Thank you for the reply! Do you prefer liquid or powder amprolium? Im looking to see if can find it local (never purchased it before). Will try some other foods too and see if that helps! I have strawberry greek yogurt in the fridge so will give that a shot.

    Sick Chicken - advice welcomed

Hi all, I have a sick girl (Ellie) in my flock. She is an Easter Egger and roughly 3 years old. About a week ago noticed runny poo/dirty bum feathers and also know she has not laid an egg in probably 10 days. She has a distinctive darker green that none of my other girls lay. About that week ago...

Someone laid this purple-pink egg... Of these 4 breeds who do you think it was?

Thank you for the info! Learning as I go but having so much fun :)

Someone laid this purple-pink egg... Of these 4 breeds who do you think it was?

Hi! A few new someones are laying in my flock. aWe have 3 currently laying pretty routinely (the light and dark green eggs) but trying to guess who these recent egg colors belong too - the light brown orange ish and the purple pink. Of the 5 newest to be laying include these breeds:  Sapphire...

    Janet & Henrietta - breed /sex thoughts?

Thank you! Appreciate the help very much

    Janet & Henrietta - breed /sex thoughts?

Thank you both! The picture with the outline is what I needed, because I kept looking at their neck feathers. So it's the darkening spots into a point, not necessarily the individual feather? They are pretty friendly boys, think they will keep this personality or will they get more aggressive...

    Sex & breed thoughts?

Thank you all! Is Easter Egger a broader category with subsets? Will legbar have potential to lay the pastel colored eggs?

    Sex & breed thoughts?

These two (hopefully) ladies were sold to me as Easter Eggers and are about 14 weeks old. Would be my first EEs and curious if correct. Has anyone gotten any fun egg colors from EEs? The lighter one (with a mohawk?, lol) , first in the picture line up, her name is Elaine and her darker sister...

    Janet & Henrietta - breed /sex thoughts?

Update on these two! Grey (Janet) has reddened quite a bit more. Brown (Henrietta) still more of a pink, than a red, but has gotten fairly large. He is pretty friendly and doesn't mind being picked up. A prior poster had said his neck feathers are sex linked, what does that mean exactly that so...
