low egg production
well my dog got in and killed 3 of our chickens, 1 salmon favorelle rooster and 2 hamburg hens. every since the egg production has been much lower.........we started w 21 total and now with the 18 remaining hens of various types we are down to 3-6 eggs per day..........we have blue andalusians...- dsmvalley

Having a tough time figuring this guy out..............when he was young he was yellow with just a hint of some black. He was the "rare"chick from a McMurray batch that arrived april 28 of this year...........HELP!!- dsmvalley

i definitely 2nd the 17 HMR for the inital purpose u proposed...............there is one downside.........you will wanna shoot it often. lottsa fun compared to the ole .22............ruger 10/22 in .22 mag...........easy to convert to 17 hmr............better buy alot of shells tho, cuz the kids...- dsmvalley
