    So I have 12 Pekin and 6 mixed mallard. He's still the smallest compared to the others. The size doesn't bother me as much as his delayed reaction. I'll wait it out. He's eating and drinking well! Thanks!

    Hey, I have 20 duck eggs due to hatch in 7 days. I candle them every 4 days to check up on them. I had gotten rid of some that were turning black even from the outside but I'm unsure about this one. I don't see veins anymore and looks spotty. No movement either. Is it a goner?

    Yes...took the life of 2 others (older ducks) earlier this month because the infection got so bad. We were very confused about what was happening but it's now clear it's a snapping turtle. We saw it attack this duckling with our own eyes. I truly hope we get this thing out of there asap!!

    Ok I will speak with him about that antibiotic. And I'll try to find that product. Things are different here in Canada and getting some of these antibiotic products is a whole process. Even vetericyn is hard to find... Do you recommend I use salt to flush only and then just a regular bath full...
