I'm pretty sure they are some kind of mite I just think the ducks are waging them off.. I think it wired they are in the pine shavings pike though too- duckman1990

I wish those were it but the ones I got are teeny tiny like a pencil point... They have a round body I think those bark lice had ant bodies almost...I'll try to get another look again tomorrow but they look light brown with no stripes... They have antennas from what I can tell they are so small I need to get a magnifying glass as well... I'm in east TN by the way... So far I have not been able to identify them either...- duckman1990

Hello I would really appreciate people's help. I have tiny little brownish insects in my duck house. Ok so they definitely need oyster shells? Also my ducks are about 7 months old and have not molted yet.. When does that happen hopefully not during winter!- duckman1990

I was thinking that too maybe it just takes a long time for them to settle in I'm feeding them dumor layer pellets. And every now and then I throw in oyster shells... They don't seem to like scratch. It's always left over in the morning...- duckman1990

I have had two beautiful pekin hens laying two eggs a day for about 3 months ... Over the last two months I added two mixed breed ducks probably half buff half Swedish and two kaki Campbell's .
