I took two trips with her over the summer, she is a call so she is pint sized....very easy travelling. I was the passenger for all but one trip home, as a passenger I did not contain her, she either sat on my feet (she has a diaper), her stuffed moose or on my lap. For the trip home...
Ya they do. They all grab each other, generally on the neck more so than her crest. My schedule this past week was super crazy & their routine was messed up a little. I put some Blu-Kote on it hoping to keep the others away.
Here is Lucy. She is a crested living with 3 other girls. Any thoughts on what kind of treatment she should get? This started happening less than a week ago. There is no fighting between the 4 girls. I think this is happening when they have their moody female moments in the pool. She is not sick...
I went away with mine for the fist time this weekend (3 days). Used an old XL dog crate for housing, smaller version bowls (dog bowls) & puppy pads (I use these regularly). The car ride was not bad, 2 hours. She rode in the car freely, first 5 minutes were interesting. I was in the passenger...
LOL. I was just reading up on @RavynFallen Duckumentary. I agree with her. GIRLS ONLY! No stinky boys allowed! Sorry! Plus, the husband might kill me if I have another SURPRISE animal appear!
We took our first weekend road trip with Peep. Went well, one freak out in the car & then she...
@Lacrystol
Hello, I never got a video from when she was little. Sorry. It was impressive. She is fully featured now & uses her wings to get around now. She gets on the furniture & goes up the porch stairs.

Butters is limping. She can put full weight on it. Holds it up otherwise. She has been in the pool mostly. It doesn't look like bumblefoot, however I have never seen it in person. I think there is a split next to her middle toe.
Thoughts.....
WESOME!
I put my water bowl (dog bowl) in a cat litter pan. Works great!
Outside I use a PVC gravity feeder.....to my surprise with minimal waste! I think I waste more filling it up than they do eating out of it! :D
So dark & pretty!! Thanks for sharing! I think Peep is as dark as she will be, she just got the band on her wings over last weekend & her tail feathers darkened a bit nut nothing to that degree!
She's a house duck for sure!!!! She definitely QUACKS!! She has got to be a girl. I have a diaper coming soon for her! Almost fully feathered out! Can't wait to see your pics @DwayneNLiz !
@BantyChooks can you post a picture of yours?
My poor Lucy. I think she is being picked on.....or she is hormonal with her upcoming first lay. She has been eating, drinking & foraging normally. She hasn't been as social, is squatting frequently & been very docile. She is a crested & has lost most of her fabulous tuft! She is 18 weeks...
