    Lump on Duck's face

Hadn't thought of that! She will eat anything that flies by her, she definitely would have tried to eat a bee. Making an appointment with her vet anyway and I can cancel if it does resolve itself.

    Lump on Duck's face

As far as I can tell, yeah. Except when she's on her nest, pretending to be a mama duck

    Lump on Duck's face

Somewhat urgent? My Cayuga female seems to have a bump on the underside of her face. All my other ducks I can feel the two sides of their skull along with a tendon in between, easily felt and defined. With Daffy, its not as defined and there seems to be a lump between the left side of her...

    Bumblefoot treatments!... duck is limping!

We made an appointment with the closest exotics/avian vet. Unfortunately since she's the closest, she has lots of patients and can't see us until next week. Unfortunately I don't have time or money to be able to go in as an emergency. In the meantime we'll be soaking and vetericyn-ing her...

    Bumblefoot treatments!... duck is limping!

We decided to go back in. We got some more gunk out and made a small cut on the top of her foot in an attempt to drain what was on top too but that wasnt successful. She was in a lot of pain and starting to breathe too hard so we stopped and wrapped it up. We'll let another scab form and...

    Bumblefoot treatments!... duck is limping!

I'm just worried about the cost for surgery on her foot.... and possibly getting in trouble for tyring to do it myself. But I'm sure I'm not the only one.

    Bumblefoot treatments!... duck is limping!

Omg. So we may have to cut the top of her foot too?? We havent used the iodine yet. She has a black scab on the spot we cut on the pad of her foot. Is it safe to assume we should peel off the scab, squeeze some yuck out and bandage every few days?

So when I change the dressing tomorrow, clear iodine and.... neosporin? Also, can we still eat her eggs if we're putting all this stuff on her foot? (betadine, vetericyn, iodine...)
