Because I live in an apt complex, I don't have a garden at home. But I do have a plot in my towns community garden (my 5th year).
I've got carrots, bush green beans, yellow onions, garlic (planted last Nov), lemon boy tomatoes, big beef tomatoes, San Marzano tomatoes and pickling cucumbers...
No it's not, though my best friend is a Marine. I actually use it because of my love of Dobermans, which are known as devildogs and were the original Marine mascot.
I live in an apt complex so I can't have chickens where I am, but my mom, who lives near me, and has her own home, has agreed to let me raise chickens in her yard. :)
So right now, I don't have chickens yet but I'm planning to next year. For now I'm doing research.
