how much area does my run need for 4 Isa Browns?

Hi everyone. Just have a quick question. How much area does my run need to have 4 Isa Browns comfortably roaming inside? I'm wondering if 30 - 35 square feet (3~ square meters) will be fine for the birds run?? Thank you!

Need a cheap, DIY and small nesting box.

I plan on having 3 hens. I need to make the box, so it can be moved around. I am planning on using a plastic tub with hay inside. Any advice?

    Coop Location

A couple of meters away from the house is fine. Some councils might have a regulation on how the coop can be to a fence.

Will my hens be fine in this space?

That is plenty of space for the chickens. Hello fellow Aussie! What state are you from?

chicken run on land where puppies recently lived/pooped?

Maybe give the area a good clean with a rake or leaf blower if you are concerned. This should remove any pests (if any) and poop.
