    Really Sick duck!!

Oh, my duck is a Welsh Harlequin too, her name is Darla Lynn. Do you think this is breed related? I sincerely hope your duck will be okay, this is so hard for them, and us. Great news!! She was eating her grain mash today!! She ate about little more than a quarter crop full. I've been so worried...

    Help, Really Sick Duck!!!

Thanks for checking the dewormer, it says for all poultry and has ducks listed. Inside her bill is normal. We have Valbasen, how much do I give her? I could weigh her again if you want. She looks so sulky and just floats in her pool all day.

Yes, it was one of the first things I did. Her crop is completely empty.

My computer won't let me upload the pictures, but it is a mild case of bumble, no swelling or redness, but she has a round black scab on one foot. Her stools are liquid and clear. No, she does not have oyster shell, but I am planning on buying some as soon as they began laying.

Tube Feeding? I don't think I could do that! I do really want to help her... She has thrown up twice before but not recently. Would syringe feeding work? I tried the syringe before but the food just would not go up with the syringe no matter what. I have syringe-fed a chicken before... but you...

Aw, I don't know, she isn't looking good today. She is walking around funny like. This is a first for me. We have never had ducks before and what's more, never had a duck sick before this. By the way, her name is Darla Lynn. And she is a Welsh Harlequin if it's any help.

Odd? Yes, she stands with her neck in and she does something like she is trying to groom her chest or something. She also shakes her head a lot. She has thrown up a few times too, clear and very fluid and looks like water. She will shake her head and then it will just gush out of her bill...

Also, I have recently discovered she has a mild case of bumblefoot but I'm not sure if this could be a factor.

I know, I'm very worried. Yes, they are free-range ducks. I can't find a vet for ducks.

I am giving her electrolytes in her water as she is drinking very well. I gave her a nutri-drench in a dropper to keep her on her feet and provide a little energy. No, she refuses to eat anything at all.

Yes, definitely, but nothing appeals to her. I feed Purina flock-raiser,pretty moistened or souped-up, and also with sunflower seeds and cracked corn. And she laying yet, she is 5-6 months old. Her stools are liquid and clear. Also, yes her crop is empty.
