Thank you for the reply! I'll add Quick Chick electrolytes and vitamins to their water. They are on non-med starter, chick grit, and I bring them greens 1-2x/day. No discharge but keeping an eye on it.
Just noticed one of my 6 week old chicks has a strange shaped eye. I'm not sure if it's a birth defect or an infection? The eye looks shape looks oval and stretched. Only the left eye, the other looks normal. What do you think? She appears active, eating, and drinking fine.
OK good to know. I was reaching for any abnormality. I've given them a game bird starter mash and put Corid in their water. Hoping it's not too late for the others, but feel you've given me the best advice- and when I really needed it!

Yes, only heating one side of the brooder. I had planned on putting some sod in there for them, but held off due to them dying. I didn't want to add any more variables.

Thank you so much! Last year my adult flock contracted Cocci even though they had med feed. So I know it's in the soil here, which is why I opted to get the vaccine. But had no idea I was complicating things by hatching my own at the same time.
