San Diego chicken people!
Hello, welcome to BYC! I don't have a rooster either, and I don't intend on getting one just because of HOA rules. I keep chickens mostly for the eggs, and I currently only have one laying hen, thanks to the hawks that live in the canyon next to my house. Now, I still have my Australorp hen...- eggolio

The Wyandotte Thread
My one and only Wyandotte pullet got snatched my a predator. :( There was only a pile of feathers and she was there when I let her out(around dawn) I'm assuming it was a hawk, we have seen them near where we live in the canyon- eggolio

CAN I FEED THIS TO MY CHICKEN?
I feed chickens peanuts all the time for treats and I haven't had problems.but peanut butter might be too sticky- eggolio
