    Broody hen stepped on egg and bloody but moving still!?!

    I ended up moving the chick to a pre heated and humid incubator and it survived and is doing well. Mama hen and other chicks kept stepping on it. She's a great broody hen and taking good care of them. Thanks everyone.

    My hen hatched 3 eggs and a forth was slowly starting to peck out she stepped on it and crushed the shell and its bleeding. I tried to piece the shell back around them and put under her wing. Is there any hope for the poor thing? Should I pull it and put in the incubator?

    Hook worms in chickens poop

    I found hook worms in one of my chickens poops. I have safe guard for goats on hand 10%. 100mg/mL. They drink from a 5 gallon bucket. I have 30 chickens to treat. Some are just introducing to outside and still have a quart waterer. Is this effective and how much do I dose?

    No I don't see any bubbles or crusty discharge. It looks clean, just like either fluid build up or a mass right under the eye itself.

    My flock is mareks positive. Usually leg paralysis. Is this a new symptom or something unrelated? What do I do? If feels almost like it's fluid filled.

    Test came back positive for mareks and ALV. I am going to test 2 others of my original flock, because I have 2 more tests. And hope like he'll that maybe by a miracle I isolated soon enough and they do not have it. The thought of putting them down is making me sick to my stomach
