    thanks for your post, but as from today she is just plopping herself down anywhere, all over the coop and her abdomen is very swollen. i'm gonna try a warm bath tomorrow and hope that helps. dont know what else to do apart from watch and wait. sadly!

    i read alot about broody hens but have no idea what that actually means. i have three hens and one of them has a bald underside, she still lays an egg every day and seems to be behaving normally, could someone tell me what broody means??

    I have noticed one of my hens is totally bald on her underside, is this normal? her feathers are fine everywhere else and she is acting normally too, still laying her usual daily egg, i'm probably freaking out about nothing just wondering why this has happened.can anyone please enlighten me??
