    First time intro

    For the most part, I think we've done pretty well by them. I never knew they'd be so fun! We let them out daily to roam the yard, scratch, stretch, play, etc. They've become our entertainment, our topic of conversations... everyone talks about their chickens a lot, right????

    Hi y'all My name is Jeanne. My fella and I got 8 chickies from rural king back in May/June. We built a nifty chicken tractor. We have 2 Wyandottes, 2 Amberlinks, a hen and roo barred rock, a hen and roo Rhode island reds. (this was their first day in new coop.)

    Hawks??

    I had that exact thing happen yesterday. A hawk landed on my barred rock Allie. I saw it in time to chase it off. She has no physical wounds but was terrified to come out from under the cedar tree. The other 7 chickens went to the coop easily and I got her in eventually. Then she wouldn't come...
