Hi all, I have an age mixed group of ducklings from 2 weeks-2 days. It's getting to mid 70's to 80 today no breeze. I have setup a secure sunny, with a bit of shade area, for them to play and get fresh air. Would they be alright for a few hours? So far they seem thrilled to be out... , -

Bless her heart, the poor baby died some time last night. My son came in my room in tears and told me. <sigh> we have had some bad luck with these poor ducks. Thanks for all your advice :) I think she was just beyond my help. She's in duckie heaven now with the other 5 we lost. -

I separated them for a while and let the older duckling just get used to their presence in another box. I will reintroduce tomorrow but keep a close eye and see how she does again. Thanks for the tips! -

Good idea, Amiga...I didn't think of that. I will probably introduce them on neutral ground outside of the brooder box and away from any food. Make sure the new arrivals as well as Minka are all fed and have had water first. Introduce them with some sort of barrier between them that they are... -
