I was leaning towards easter egger but hoping she was a wheaten :/ oh well I love my other easter eggers :) thanks for the replies. mostly what is throwing me from not being an ee is that she was a solid yellow chick, all my other ee have looked like little chipmunks when they were little
my chicks are around 7 weeks old and were part of a mypetchicken rare assorted breed batch, I know all the others were easter eggers. She (at least I hope she is a she) was a pale yellow chick when I first got her any guesses on what she is? Thanks!
thanks for the reply, she is the only one having the problem and I don't think ventilation is causing it as the coop is very well ventilated and very dry. Yesterday I noticed that one of the tips looked a little had a little scab but then it looked like this today. Should I keep her separated...
Not sure if this is frostbite or if she's been pecked by other chickens? any suggestions of what to do would be helpful. Right or wrong I currently separated her from the rest until I figure out what to do. I cleaned it and put some ointment on it.

the coop we are building is going to be based off of The Palace plans, but we have a strict neighborhood association so we are going to side and shingle it to match the house so it will blend in better. It is very exciting because we are the first approved chicken coop in our area :)
There are 5 of us in our family and we were going to let everyone pick out a bird from the 4H'ers at the local fair in August. So I am not really sure what we are going to end up with :) Personally I would like some sort of easter egger, Ive always loved the colored eggs
