Love the different ideas,my girls can really get irritated with each other in the winter.tried a mirror but they are not interested. They did like romaine stuffed into a suet holder though.
We have two runs for our girls. The first is chicken wire and boards, the second is done with hardware cloth. The chicken wire has been rusting so we have decided to o that one over with the hardware cloth also. The wire is buried at 24 inches a d the tops are also hardware cloth or will soon...
Thank you so much for the welcomes!! Was wondering what everyone uses for bedding in their coops. I found that just the pine shavings alone got very dusty. Right now I am using a combination of shavings and hay which does help.Does anyone have a good layer method for the really cold months?
