20 days ago I bought this cuties. How long do I have to wait to sex them? Out of the 35, which I still have, I count 10 females due to their large tails and the remaining 25 all males because of their tiny pin tails. Is this a safe sexing way on Turkens? Or do I wait another month or so to see...
Week 4
Just weighed in my 9 F-1 DCx's of my White Plymouth Rock and Madisons. This are the results, and not what I expected on the Madisons. WPR cross is leaving the Madisons behind on both Males and Females. My spreadsheet says data as a group and not individual weight which tell a way...
So I was on FB going thru posts of RGV poultry when I came across the pics of Tank, Frost and the rest of the crew. I said "I know this beauties, they're DesertChic's Turkens!!!" You're birds are getting famous down here in South Texas DesertChic!!!

For starters I don't even know what a grouse bird looks like. I'm selling some cockatiels and I was offered this birds as a trade, I was told by this girl it was a pair of urogallo still was like huh???? And that's all she knew about them when she bought them at a flea market. I googled and all...
