    I got them as chicks. 16% protein. I've never wormed them, but I've never seen any sign of worms. The other hen lays like a champ.

    Layer feed. I got them at a poultry show from different vendors. The picture was taken on a rainy day. They aren't really that scraggly.

    We purchased chicks in April last year. Our BLRW, is still not laying. Several times ive thought that she was just really good at hiding them, but she's been cooped up since our fence blew down a couple of days ago, and still no eggs. Should I cal Guiness yet?

    BLW not laying at 9months

    I have a blw that we got last Easter and she doesn't seem to be laying yet, either. I love to see these posts that say I'm not the only one. Our other hen (same age) lays in the coop, so Slacker knows where to leave them.
